HSD are developing an electronic online risk assessment system for QMUL, as part of the MySafety system. This webpage contains a list of numbered risk assessment templates / topics that are intended to be developed for the system. A ‘road map’ timeline for the development process is also on this webpage. Each risk assessment template / topic has a lead HSD manager, assisted by HSD Advisers. They will be setting a ‘development program’ for each template to ensure we get the best possible template for use, and that we achieve compliance with H&S regulations.
We need volunteers from QMUL to help develop the templates and then to trial them out on the training / live website to ensure the system and templates are relevant to your areas, and would be easy to use.
If you are able to volunteer in any initial development phase for a particular risk assessment template and / or to trial them out at your computer, please email the Lead HSD manager or firstname.lastname@example.org noting which number/s in the ‘Risk Assessment templates and HSD Leads’ document that you would like to (a) volunteer with during development and/or (b) trial out on your computer.
Assistance and support from all QMUL colleagues (staff and students) are appreciated.
